Lay of the Day!

Sometimes it's fun to throw some different textures and materials together and just see what happens. I love how a texture can change the entire look of a solid and how a shiny faux leather can contrast with a flat dusty blue paint. I love how a wood grain can act a neutral and an entire texture of its own and the right combination of a soft hand and a smooth, hard tile can balance a palette.

No especially deep thoughts today. Just a pretty material lay and some happy thoughts out there for you. -C
