I Spy...

I spy with my little eye... you see it right? A bottle of wine at my workstation! Don't worry y'all I didn't bring it myself. (And disappointingly I didn't drink it at work either.) It was a gift. One of our amazing manufacturer's reps brought wine for our Interior Design Team. I know it's part of the business and they most likely get budget to work with in order to provide these "perks," but it still surprises me every time and makes me so thankful for the amazing people I get to work with across the industry.

Before the holidays there were candy treats, a small cactus, wine on Monday, and yesterday I received a belated holiday card with Starbucks gift card enclosed. If the goal was for me to remember their name and their product, sure it works. But it also has me feeling really thankful to be in this industry and to continue to have the opportunity to make connections with really thoughtful and kind people.
