I’m not a homeowner yet... but one of the things I’m most looking forward to is being able to grow plants outdoors. I’ve only recently begun flexing my green thumb, but in the last 5 years I’ve managed to keep a few indoor plants alive. I love my plants, but I’m quickly running out of space in our little bitty apartment.

This weekend we are spending some time at the in-laws’ and I’m ever amazed at their little garden and aquaponics set up. I don’t think I could go that far on my own, but I think one day I could grow my own tomatoes, bell peppers, rosemary, basil...

There’s something about being surrounded by green that’s just so calming. I’m sure there’s some kind of science to it, but after a long day at work, coming home and looking at my plants just makes me happy. Does that make me a weirdo? A crazy plant mom? I don’t care, cause these babies are doing something good for my brain. -C
